Photo Mode: Shooting Cinematic Neon Nights

The neon-noir look is practically designed for photo mode. A few habits separate a snapshot from a poster you'd actually hang.

The shot list

1. Shoot the blue hour just after sunset for the richest neon contrast.
2. Use a longer focal length to compress the skyline behind your subject.
3. Find wet pavement for free reflections — rain or the moments after.
4. Lower the horizon to let the sky and signage breathe.
5. Add a subtle grain and vignette in the final pass, not a heavy one.

Less is more

Every effect you add competes with the neon. Pick one hero light, expose for it, and let the shadows fall where they may.
